How to Get There

Flying to Thailand is super easy, whether you're coming from across the world or just hopping over from a nearby country. Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is the main international gateway, with tons of direct flights from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. There’s also Don Mueang Airport (DMK), which mainly serves low-cost carriers if you’re traveling within the region.

If you're heading straight for the beaches, Phuket International Airport (HKT) has direct international flights too, while Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX) is your best bet if you're exploring the north.

Coming from North America? You’ll likely have a layover in cities like Tokyo, Seoul, Doha, or Dubai. From nearby Southeast Asian countries, there are plenty of budget airlines like AirAsia and Scoot offering quick, affordable hops into Thailand.

Once you land, getting into the city is simple — airport trains, taxis, and ride-hailing apps like Grab will get you where you need to go without much fuss.
